2020 CPUC Energy Storage Evaluation Request for Proposals
The Energy Division with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) will award a contract to support the administrative and technical execution of an evaluation of the CPUC Energy Storage Procurement Framework and Design Program that is required per CPUC Decision 13-10-040.
The three major California investor owned utilities (IOUs) will fund this evaluation through all ratepayers.
The energy storage evaluation Request for Information (RFI) document located at Cal eProcure website explains the expected Contractor scope of work, deliverables and work program schedule. This RFI seeks feedback on these items as well as the other CPUC contract requirements described in the RFI document.
The selected energy storage evaluation Contractor will be responsible for the timely completion of all work products by the agreed upon timeframes and to complete this evaluation within 24 months.
