Energy Division will host a public virtual informational session with presentations by Lumen Energy Strategy on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM.
TOPIC: Resilience Standards and Grid Resilience Planning: Resilience Methodologies presented by Lumen Energy Strategy, a CEC EPIC awardee working on building a grid resiliency framework.
MEETING PURPOSE: This informational session will focus on “Resiliency Standards and Grid Resilience Planning – Resiliency Methodologies”. CPUC Staff will provide an overview of the current Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) process, and Lumen will facilitate discussions exploring potential opportunities for local authorities, community leaders, load-serving entities, and state regulators to integrate resiliency into the broader grid planning perspective, with a focus on IRP.
